Keith 20x20x1.5

Keith was my boss, but his greatest influence came as my mentor. When a lack of a degree stood between me and a promotion, I insisted I didn’t need one. Keith told me maybe I didn’t need it for that job, but I needed it for me. I begrudgingly went back to school, graduated with a 4.0, received the St. Benedict Award, and addressed my graduating class—with Keith sitting in the audience as I told everyone I was standing there because of him. His influence became part of a presentation I later delivered across the country about mentorship. One person believing in you can alter your trajectory. Keith did that for me.
