What I Create
How It Works
1. Share Your Vision
Tell me about your idea—the subject, size, colors, style, and anything else that's important to you. Reference photos are required for pet portraits and are always helpful for other commissions. Use the commission form to get started.
2. Quote & Timeline
Every commission is priced individually based on size, complexity, and materials. I'll provide a quote and estimated completion timeline before you commit.
3. Reserve Your Spot
A 50% non-refundable deposit reserves your place in my commission schedule and covers materials. The remaining balance is due before shipping or pickup.
4. I Create Your Artwork
This is where the magic happens. I focus on creating a finished piece you'll be excited to unwrap. Because every artist works differently—and some of my techniques develop quickly or in reverse—I don't provide work-in-progress photos.
5. Finishing Touches
Once complete, your artwork is professionally finished, sealed (when appropriate), and carefully prepared for its new home.
6. Delivery
Your artwork is securely packaged and shipped, or available for local pickup in Southwest Florida.
Pricing
Because every commission is unique, I quote per piece rather than using flat prices — this way you only pay for the size and complexity you actually want.
Your quote is based on three things:
-
Size — larger pieces take more time and materials
-
Design — simple and clean vs. layered and intricate
-
Detail — the level of texture, technique, and fine work involved
Every commission is quoted individually. I'll provide a detailed quote before any work begins, so you'll always know the investment upfront.

-
Completion timelines are estimates and may vary depending on commission complexity and current workload.
-
Minor adjustments may be possible during planning, but changes after work has begun may incur additional charges.
-
Because every piece is handcrafted, slight variations are part of creating an original work of art.
Timeline
Most commissions take 3-6 weeks from approved quote to finished piece, depending on size and my current queue. Need it by a specific date (a birthday, holiday, or gift)? Let me know up front — Rush commissions may be available for an additional fee, depending on my schedule.

FAQ
How do I send reference photos? Reference photos can be uploaded directly with your commission request. Additional images can always be emailed later if needed.
Can I request changes? We work through the concept together before I begin painting. Once work has started, changes may not be possible and may incur additional charges.
What materials do you use? I use professional-quality acrylic paints, premium canvases or plexiglass (depending on the commission), and archival-quality finishes selected for durability and longevity.
Do you ship? Yes. I ship throughout the United States. International shipping is available for many commissions, though some larger or highly textured pieces may not be practical to ship overseas. I'll discuss the best options with you before work begins.
How do I pay? A deposit reserves your spot; the balance is due before shipping. Payments are handled securely through my site.
Can I commission a gift? Absolutely — just mention the occasion and any deadline when you reach out.
