Carol 20x20x1.5

Carol and I are proof that great friendships don’t always begin as friendships. We once worked together and, frankly, didn’t particularly like each other. Eventually, I sat on her desk and said we needed to figure out how to work together. One honest conversation changed everything. We’ve been thick as thieves ever since. Distance hasn’t changed that; we still talk every day. Carol is the person I can count on for a shoulder to cry on—or to show up with a shovel and tarp without asking too many questions. Bold jewel tones, texture, and a little chaos felt exactly right for a friendship that took a wonderfully unconventional path.

Juried Exhibition: Carol was selected for FIRE 2026, a juried international exhibition opening October 1, 2026. The work is also presented on Artsy as part of the exhibition.
