The Ones Who Shaped Us

The Ones Who Shaped Us is a collection of original abstract paintings inspired by the family, friends, and mentors who shape our lives.

Each piece began with one person and the emotions, memories, and influence I associate with them. I chose the colors with intention, but from there, I allowed the paint to move, interact, and surprise me. The result is twelve distinctly different works — each capturing the feeling of a person rather than attempting to portray them.

Some influences are loud. Some are quiet. Some shape who we become without ever realizing they've done it. This collection is my interpretation of those connections and a celebration of the people we carry with us.

Every painting in The Ones Who Shaped Us is an original, one-of-a-kind work.
